In Florida you will have to take 2 exams, one is a business and finance exam, and one is a trade exam. . We offer the exam prep course for the Florida Business and Finance exam required of all contractors in Florida. This course is all online pre-recorded so you can take it at your own time and pace. We also sell the books needed for this exam because it is an open book exam.
You will also need to take a trade exam based on the type of work you intend to perform. We offer an exam prep course for the NASCLA exam, a nationally accepted commercial and residential licensing exam accepted in FL as well as in 15 other states. The NASCLA is accepted in FL for the Certified General Contractor, Certified Building Contractor, and Certified Residential Contractor. We also sell the books needed for this open book exam.
After you have passed both exams, you will need to submit a license application. Contractor Training Center can assist you in submitting this application with our application processing services.
