In order to get an electrical contractors license in VA, you will need to complete the 8-hour pre-license course required of all Virginia Contractors. After you have completed this course, you will need to pass your VA Class A/B exams. Contractor Training Center offers exam prep courses to help you prepare this exam. Once you have passed your VA Class A/B exams, you must submit a license application to VA DPOR Contractors Board. Contractor Training Center offers application assistance programs to help you submit the application properly the first time.
