In Virginia, Residential and Commercial construction are licensed separately. If you would like to perform both residential and commercial construction, you will need to obtain both an RBC license and a CBC license.
You can apply for both license specialties on a single application, but you will need to pass both technical exams in order to obtain either license specialty.
