North Carolina Residential Contractor Exam Prep Course
We no longer offer exam prep services for this licensing exam - instead, we suggest the National NASCLA exam, which covers you to perform commercial and residential construction in North Carolina, and is accepted by 15 other states as a trade exam.
This NASCLA Exam is approved for North Carolina Residential Contractors. We have done away with the NC Residential Exam because the NASCLA is actually an easier OPEN BOOK Exam vs the (mostly) closed book NC Residential Exam.
The NASCLA Accredited Exam qualifies you to become licensed in fifteen states and one U.S. territory (North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, West Virginia, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Arizona, and the Virgin Islands) and more states are in process of accepting it soon.

Additional Materials
The exam at PSI is partially open-book. You may bring the approved references into the exam, and said reference manuals may be tabbed and highlighted with permanent tabs. There are also additional references used to formulate exam questions that may be used as study references but may not be taken into the exam.
