Georgia NASCLA Exam Prep Services & Materials

We offer everything you need to prepare for the National NASCLA Commercial Builder exam, accepted in Georgia to cover general construction. The state of Georgia administers the National NASCLA Commercial Builder Exam under the title "Georgia General Contractor (or General Contractor Limited Tier) Exam"

The NASCLA Accredited Commercial General Building Contractor exam is accepted as a trade exam for construction license applicants in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia & the US Virgin Islands.

In Georgia, general contractor applicants must have either a baccalaureate degree in construction management or a related field from an accredited 4-year university or 4 years' practical experience at least two of which shall have been as or in the employment of a general contractor, or other proven experience deemed acceptable by the Division.

Georgia General Contractor is a contractor whose services are unlimited as to the type of work in which they do, subject to the financial limitations determined by their subclassification.

Steps to obtaining your license with NASCLA Exam Transcripts

All NASCLA exam candidates are required to meet standard state licensing regulations in order to obtain a license in Georgia.

How do I take the Georgia NASCLA exam in the state of Georgia?

As a Georgia License Applicant, you can apply for approval to take the NASCLA Commercial Builder Exam by applying to NASCLA at ned.nascla.org, or by submitting a license application for a General Contractor's license to the Georgia state board.

If you apply to Georgia directly to take the NASCLA Commercial Builder Exam, you will only have two attempts to take the exam within a one-year period. However, if you apply directly to NASCLA and then send your exam transcripts to the Georgia State Board with your application, you will have three attempts to take the exam at PSI within a one-year period.
