We offer everything you need to prepare for the National NASCLA Commercial Builder exam, accepted in Georgia to cover commercial and residential construction. The state of Georgia administers the National NASCLA Commercial Builder Exam under the title "Georgia General Contractor [or General Contractor Limited Tier] Exam"
To prepare for the NASCLA Accredited Commercial Builder exam, you will need books and tabs as well as our exam prep course. We also give the option to purchase pre-tabbed and highlighted books, saving you valuable hours of highlighting the information within the books yourself.
The NASCLA Accredited Commercial General Building Contractor exam is accepted as a trade exam for commercial construction license applicants in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia & the US Virgin Islands.
Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, the US Virgin Islands, Utah, and West Virginia also accept the NASCLA Commercial Builder exam to cover residential construction.
In Georgia, general contractor applicants must have either a baccalaureate degree in construction management or a related field from an accredited 4-year university or 4 years' practical experience at least two of which shall have been as or in the employment of a general contractor, or other proven experience deemed acceptable by the Division.
A Georgia General Contractor is a contractor whose services are unlimited as to the type of work in which they do, subject to the financial limitations determined by their subclassification.
