ICC National Standard Construction Contractor License Options

The International Code Council created a National Standard examination program to provide a standardized competency assessment for licensing agencies. Passing a Code Council examination does not guarantee that a licensing agency will award you a license, but passing an exam serves as an independent appraisal of your competency in the construction field. Many licensing agencies require license applicants to pass a National Standard exam as proof of competency in their area of expertise.
