Virginia DPOR Home Inspectors NRS CPE Continuing Education (4 Hour Course)

All licensed Virginia Home Inspectors with a New Residential Structures (NRS) endorsement are required to complete a four-hour Board-approved NRS CPE course during every two-year renewal cycle to maintain that designation. This course is approved by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation to provide 4 hours of continuing education credits.

Upon completion of this four-hour online course, a certificate of completion is issued to the student, which must be submitted to the Board when renewing a license.

This course can be completed in one sitting or may be paused and resumed at a later time. The course takes four hours to complete.

This is an online, self-paced course that can be completed at any time. This course takes four hours to complete. You may complete this course in a single session or complete any part of the course, pausing your progress to resume at a later time.

Once completed, you will be issued a certificate of completion, and records will be submitted to DPOR for verification.

To complete this course, you do not need to read books or other materials. All information is shared digitally, and no hard-copy materials are required.
