Considering the NASCLA Commercial Builder Exam: Is it right for you?
Are you eager to become a licensed contractor in one or more states/jurisdictions? Then the NASCLA Accredited Examination Program may be the perfect fit for you.
The National Association of State Contractor Licensing Agencies (NASCLA) has made it easier for contractors to expand their business opportunities by offering an accredited examination that is accepted in 16+ states.
While NASCLA does not impose prerequisites for the exam, passing it does not automatically grant a contractor's license. Each state has its own licensing requirements, which may include additional exams (such as Business and Law), experience qualifications, or other criteria.
