Business Math and Estimating Intensive Learning Bootcamp
Contractor licensing exams, while often open-book, require candidates to have an understanding and application of general industry knowledge and practices to interpret and answer questions correctly. State Construction/Trade and Business Law exams commonly require candidates to interpret accounting documents such as Balance Sheets and Income Statements, calculate ratios and depreciation, perform cost analyses on labor and equipment, and schedule invoices through different methods.
This 3-hour intensive live course discusses basic business math as discussed above and basic estimating fundamentals, including calculating overhead and markup, estimating profit margins, and invoicing by a percentage of completion.
3-Hour Live Webinar:
This course will teach general business and construction industry-related math as well as project/cost estimating fundamentals and best practices. Content in this course applies to most building construction and business law exams and is valuable to know for general use in the construction industry.
Class Days & Times:
This 3-Hour webinar is hosted via live stream from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm EST on the above dates.
This 2-hour intensive course is intended to supplement specific exam prep courses to aid exam candidates in understanding key concepts. We highly suggest also purchasing an exam prep course specific to a licensing exam to review the unique content areas of the exam.
