Tabbed and Highlighted Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) Part 1, 2018 Edition

The Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) contains the necessary regulations required for contractors to comply with when constructing a new building, structure, or an addition to an existing building in the state of Virginia. These guidelines must also be used when maintaining or repairing an existing building or renovating or changing the use of a building or structure.

The USBC is comprised of three parts: Virginia Construction Code, Virginia Existing Building Code, and Virginia Maintenance Code. This is a tabbed and highlighted reference manual to be used in Virginia contractor licensing exams.

The USBC Part 1 (Virginia Construction Code) is a useful and necessary reference for building contractors in the state of Virginia.

The Virginia USBC 2018 is effective July 1, 2021.
