Georgia Contractor's License: Everything You Need to Know

Construction laws vary from state to state, but in Georgia, a contractor’s license is required for any work that exceeds $2,500 in labor and materials. As a contractor, you can work in the construction, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical field. The primary benefits of a Geogia contractor’s license are:

Instant Credibility

The license allows you to establish yourself, build trust, and build your business.

Work More. Earn More.

Larger projects are off limits without the license and clients will pay a higher price for the work of a licensed contractor than an unlicensed handyperson.
