We offer everything you need to prepare for the Georgia Residential Basic Exam, required for all Georgia Contractor license applicants.
To prepare for the Georgia Residential Basic Exam, you will need the required reference manual and tabs as well as our exam prep course. We also give the option to purchase a pre-tabbed and highlighted reference manual, saving you valuable hours of highlighting the information within the book yourself.
A Georgia Residential Basic Contractor can perform work on (including building) detached one-family and two-family residences and one-family townhouses not over three stories in height as well as their accessory buildings and structures.
Applicants must have at least two years of proven experience working as or in the employment of a residential contractor, predominately in the residential-basic category, or other proven experience deemed substantially similar by the Residential Division. Applicants must also have had significant responsibility for the successful performance and completion of at least two projects falling within the residential-basic category in the two years immediately preceding application.
