Exam Prep Class: 

This Virginia Highway Heavy Exam Prep Class will help you prepare for the HH PSI Exam.  (H/H) means those individuals whose contracts include construction, repair, improvement, or demolition of the following: Bridges Railroads, Dams Roads, Drainage systems Runways, Foundations Streets, Parking lots Structural signs & lights, Public transit systems, and tanks. This License Covers the following specialties:

Asphalt Paving and Sealcoating Contracting (PAV)
Billboard/SignContracting (BSC)
Concrete Contracting (CEM)
Landscape Irrigation Contracting (ISC)
Marine Facility Contracting (MCC)
Vessel Construction Contracting (VCC)

This prep course is available in three options: Pre-Recorded, Live In-Class, and Live Webinar.

The online pre-recorded content is also included with the purchase of any live course to serve as a follow-up study material. Pre-Recorded content includes highlighting instructions and practice exam questions for each book.

Pre-Recorded classes are available to you immediately upon purchase and can be completed at your own time and pace. 

Live Classes are a one-day intensive prep course, held on:

 

Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month

Wednesdays 8:30am - 12:00pm

Highway Heavy (HH) License Requirements:

You must pass the HH Exam at PSI.

Virginia requires two licenses to become a contractor: Business / Law and Technical.  This Class A/B license covers the business and law portion and is required by the designated employee or member of responsible management.  There is an 8-hour Pre-License requirement for all new Virginia Contractors.  The same person who takes the Pre-License course must be the same person who takes the Class A/B exams.

Class A – required for all projects in exceeding $120,000 and yearly revenue over &750,000.  The Company must have a $45k minimum net worth

Class B – required for all projects exceeding $10,000 and not more than $120,000 per project, and not to exceed $750,000 in yearly revenue.  The company must have a minimum net worth of $15,000
