About the Tennessee BC-A Residential Contractor License:

  • It covers the construction, remodeling, repair, or improvement of one, two, three, or four-unit residences not exceeding three stories in height and accessory use structures in connection to such residences.  
  • A license is required for jobs over $25,000.
