National NASCLA Accredited Exam for Journeyman Electricians Exam Prep Course
The NASCLA-Accredited Examination Program was designed to assist contractors who need to be licensed in multiple jurisdictions. Contractors who take the accredited examination can access NASCLA’s Examination Database (NED) and request that their results be sent to other jurisdictions that accept the examination, thereby reducing redundant licensing requirements.
The National NASCLA Accredited Exam for Journeyman Electricians license is accepted for licensing in Alabama, the District of Columbia, Tennessee, Utah, and Virginia.
Missouri currently administers the National NASCLA Accredited Exam for Journeyman Electricians.

Exam Prep Course:
This online course will prepare you to take and pass the National NASCLA Exam for Journeyman Electrical Contractors. In order to take the NASCLA Electrical Exam, you will need to apply to an administering state board for licensure. After receiving approval, applicants may schedule the exam at a PSI Testing Center

Class Days and Times:
This prep course is an online pre-recorded course that you can complete at your own time and pace. It also includes a simulation exam that mirrors the content and time limit of the actual exam.

Additional Materials
The NASCLA Electrical Contractor Exam is open-book. You may bring the approved references into the exam, and reference manuals may be tabbed and highlighted. Tabs must be permanent adhesive tabs - removable tabs such as post-its are not allowed in the examination center. Tabs for the books allowed inside the exam are available here.

Books
You may bring the books listed here into the testing center when you take the exam at PSI. Exam references may be highlighted, underlined, and tabbed with permanent adhesive tabs. You may not write in the book or use tabs such as post-its that may be removed.

Applying for the Exam
NASCLA requires pre-approval by your state agency to schedule the exam at a PSI Testing Center. Once you receive approval, you may register for and schedule an exam with PSI Exams.
