Applying for the Exam
NASCLA requires pre-approval by your state agency to schedule the exam at a PSI Testing Center. Once you receive approval, you may register for and schedule an exam with PSI Exams.
Books Included
Books
You may bring the books listed here into the testing center when you take the exam at PSI. Exam references may be highlighted, underlined, and tabbed with permanent adhesive tabs. You may not write in the book or use tabs such as post-its that may be removed.

Additional Materials
The NASCLA Electrical Contractor Exam is open-book. You may bring the approved references into the exam, and reference manuals may be tabbed and highlighted. Tabs must be permanent adhesive tabs - removable tabs such as post-its are not allowed in the examination center. Tabs for the books allowed inside the exam are available here.
