Does Alabama offer reciprocity with other states?

The Alabama Licensing Board for General Contractors offers reciprocity with Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee commercial contractor licenses. The permit also must be for the same classification that you are seeking in Alabama. Any applicant holding a license in good standing in an accepted state can have trade portion of the exam waived upon written certification from that state in which the applicant is licensed.
